Ohope Beach School
Sculptures, signage and assorted graphic based on the beautiful traditional patterns to represent the elementary school.
I had the privilege of designing signs, brochures, and certificates for an exceptional elementary school located in the small town of Ōhope, New Zealand alongside the Law Creative team. One of the highlights of this project was collaborating with a talented traditional Māori illustrator to bring these remarkable pieces to life for the recently renovated school.
The magnificent sculpture, known as the Pou, stands proudly at the entrance of the school. It was expertly crafted by the gifted artist capturing the story of Tamarau. My role involved translating his designs into documents that served as a blueprint for carving and sculpting the piece. Throughout the process, I meticulously selected the perfect materials and determined their placements to ensure a flawless result.
